La genèse de cet outil remonte aux débuts de la scolarisation de Victoria, la fille cadette du fondateur. Afin d’aider Vic à orthographier correctement certains mots, Jack Amberg a développé un petit jeu appelé: Vic’s games ou les « jeux de Victoria ».
Afin de se démarquer de l’anglais, les “jeux de Victoria” sont devenus Ludo-Vic (Ludo= je joue en latin), qui se décline en Ludwig en allemand, Lodewijk en néerlandais, Lewis en anglais, Loïc en breton, Luigi en italien, Luis en espagnol, etc…
