Is there a free version of the app?

Yes. But with a limited access, ideal to test our application. And then you can move on to the full version

What is available in the free version ?

In the free version, you have 3 whole lessons to begin learning French. That's 3 dialogues in French, vocabulary and grammar lessons comprising various activities, including voice recognition, illustrations and more !

How do I move on to the full version?

From the free version that you have downloaded, you will be able to purchase in the App the "Individual" package. This is why the App has "in-App" purchases.

You can have upto 4 individual learners on a single equipment (PC or smartphone), each with its own speed of progress, ideal for the whole family!

The full version of Basic-Français includes all the App's functionalities:

Do I pay only once, and get free upgrades ?

Exactly! You pay 11,99€ once and you will have access to all the functionalities and the regular upgrades of our App. The App is constantly evolving with new contents and new functionalities.

How to check your smartphone's characteristics ?
For an Android:
  • To access the details of the Android version & the model: parameters => About phone
  • To know the available disk space: parameters=> About phone => storage
  • To see the available memory: settings=>maintenance of the device => memory
On an Iphone:
  • To access the details of the iOS version & the model : settings => general => iphone storage
  • To see the available disk space: settings => general => storage
How to install Basic-Français ?

Basic-Français is an App available on Windows, Android and iOS.

  • For iOS, from Apple's AppStore

  • For Windows, you must download the zip file from Ludo-Vic web page:
    Click here
    Unzip it and then open the .exe file (easy install).
How to activate Speech recognition on Windows ?

Basic-Français uses Speech recognition to evaluate your pronunciation. Before you start, make sure a microphone is installed:

  • Select (Start)=> Parameters > Hour & Language => Voice
  • In the “Languag of voice”, choose French (France) as the language to use for speech recognition. (Add that language if it is not on the list).
  • Click on the bow to recognize non-native accents.
How do I access a full version of Basic-Français ?

The activation key lets you unblock the whole content. You can find it in your Ludo-Vic account:

How do I obtain an activation key ?

If you have downloaded the App on your smartphone already, you can obtain/buy your activation key from your Ludo-Vic account:

Why my activation key doesn't work ?

Sometimes during your first login; some illustrated error messages can appear:

Error :You didn't insert your activation key
Solution : Please enter your activation key

 

Erreur : This key is already used on another device.
Solution : You must insert a new key.

 

Error : The activation key memorized in the device was deleted by accident ( phone reformatting, etc.. )
Solution : Re-enter your activation key.

 

Why can't I add a new profile ?

Error : You haven't entered your identifier/email yet
Solution : Please enter your identifier

 

Error : The maximum number of users was reached.
Solution : You can have upto 4 users per activation key

 

Error : This profile already exists in the App.
Solution : Use another name for your profile.

 

 

Error : A problem occured while registering the user.
Solution : Check that your identifier and your activation key are properly spelled. If the problem persists, wait a few minutes and start again.
